A 2017 update on the big bad.

A Tyrannosaurus based on a paper about a daspletosaurus skull which, supposedly, shows signs of a scaly face similar to a crocodile. It also suggests that the teeth would show just like a crocodile.

Personally, I feel the evidence is sketchy and that the paper assumed to much (they based the scale info off of cracks in the skull, not exactly evidence for scales) and not to mention. Based on the kind of teeth tyrannosaurs have, they would have most likely had lips to keep the teeth moist and healthy as well as protect them from environmental ware and tear.

But that doesn't mean I can't draw something like this!! So here we are!!
